Did jesus tell the men of emmaus that the old-testament was all about him, and give them the details ?

They were his disciples, but they did not recognize him. They were downcast because they thought he was dead and gone for good. But he arose (as prophesied), and restored faith in his group. And then ascended to heaven. He remained on earth for some forty days.
