Is Hugo Chavez just a U.S. Bashing Comedian?

If you listen to his rhetoric he's hilarious (of course most of what he says is ludicrous). He has got to be a never-ending nightmare for Venezuelans all over this world. It must be so embarring that he has twice won elections and that those poor (literally) ignorant people vote for him because they love his david vs. goliath rhetoric...poor Venezuelans...they don't and they do deserve everything that is happening to them.
