How do you think the government should have responded while Adolf Hitler and Mussolini rose to power?

I think that people as individuals, and as members of a government should have used their own beliefs in what was right and wrong. Clearly, where Hitler was headed was absolutely WRONG in the eyes of anyone who had any morals / value of life. They should have revolted against what he stood for instead of blindly following the corruptness of his leadership. You can see this happening in America today. It is going to take the people of America to revolt against all this unbelievable spending by government, and the quick-moving takeover of the peoples' rights and businesses. America has been the land of the FREE and very soon here, if there are not revolts by the people against the corrupt government, America, too, will end up in a Hitler- Mussolini nation. It is very scary, and it is uncalled for. The government needs to be overturned, and now is the time. I'm joining in, are you?
