Does a Taurus man ever forgive?

I've read all the current postings on the ability/inability of Taurus men to forgive and am still not convinced. Maybe I'm in denial that the man I love more then anything in this world may never want to be with me again. I am a Cancer and a VERY forgiving person which I've proved to him over and over during our 7 year relationship; however, he has not one ounce of forgiveness for my mistakes. He cheated and lied and I forgave. My mistakes were the things I said and how I reacted to his betrayal, according to him. The truth is I sent a text message to several people he works with telling some very private and "not so flattering" information about him. I was hurting and angry and wanted him to hurt like he had hurt me. Now I see it was an immature decision. He says he is not ready to forgive me yet but at least he is speaking to me again, after 2 months of being completely ignored by him. My question is...is he saying he's not ready to talk or forgive yet just to pacify me and keep me from calling/texting too much or does he really need time to cool off and forgive me? I'm afraid I'm waiting around for forgiveness that never truly plans to be given. I want us to fix this and work more then anything in this world.
