Future WEC fighters?

I was wondering with the UFC owning the WEC does anyone think that fighters, such as Rich Franklin, who already had a shot at the title and didn't get it, will end up in the WEC? As long as Anderson Silva has the belt he will never get a shot again. Diego Sanchez is another fighter that loss 2 fights in a row and fighting in a deep welter weight division he would have to win quite a few fights to get a title shot.
