Spanish spoken in colombia compared to the rest of latin america?

They use "usted" instead of "tu" all the time, regardless if the conversation is between friends or an unknown person. Other than that there are no usage differences from the standard Spanish lang. I would say that the way Colombians speak would be pretty much the same that you hear on the tapes you have used to learn Spanish.
